Auditorium Seat Naming

LEAVE YOUR LEGACY & NAME A SEAT!

Oakwood Auditorium Seat Naming Campaign

Remember the excitement, the spotlight, the applause? The Oakwood Auditorium has been the heart of countless cherished memories, from awe-inspiring student performances to the community’s standing ovations. Over two decades ago, many of you played a pivotal role in elevating these experiences through our seat-naming campaign, enhancing the lighting and sound that brought each show to life.

Today, we are thrilled to share that we are at 75% of our Flourish Phase 2 goal for Enhancements to the Oakwood Auditorium, an initiative that promises to continue our tradition of excellence in the arts. This campaign marks a significant step in ensuring our auditorium not only meets but surpasses the aspirations of the next generation of Oakwood students and theatre enthusiasts by providing new theatrical rigging, upgraded electrical, sound, lighting, and window treatments.

For $550, you can name a seat, leaving up to four lines of text as a legacy of your support. It’s a chance to honor a loved one, commemorate your family, or inspire future performers with a quote that resonates with the spirit of Oakwood.

Your contribution will be more than just a name on a seat; it will be an investment in the arts, in our students, and in a space where community and creativity flourish together. Join other supporters in making a lasting impact.

During the later circumstance, the District will work with the Foundation to coordinate communication with the original donor(s) to identify their first right of interest in continued support.

*The Oakwood Schools District shall retain the right, in its discretion and in the exercise of its fiduciary duty, to remove the Donor Recognition if it determines that its continued use may create serious harm to or materially diminish the goodwill or reputation of the District. The Parties agree that a decision to remove the designated name may only be made by The Board of Education of Oakwood Schools or their designee.
