Meet the Trustees -Draft
Brandy McFall serves as the Oakwood Schools Foundation’s first Executive Director and has been with the Foundation since early 2020. McFall is a seasoned local non-profit development and leadership professional with over 15 years in the field. Her non-profit career includes the Dayton Art Institute where she served as Sponsorship Officer and Development Director. At the University of Dayton, she led the University’s Foundation Relations department for over five years. She has also served in roles at Ronald McDonald House of the Miami Valley and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce.
McFall majored in political science at Ohio University. She has received her Master’s Certificate from the University of Dayton Center for Leadership’s competitive Emerging Leaders Program and Youth Mental Health First Aid training.
McFall has served on several Dayton community committees and boards including, currently, as Vice Chair of the Greater Dayton Brain Health Foundation. She and her husband and two children have resided in Oakwood since 2014. She enjoys quality time with her family taking walks around Oakwood and frequenting local parks and restaurants.

Mike Zimmerman
Mike Zimmerman serves as the Oakwood Schools Foundation’s Donor Services Coordinator and has been with the Foundation since early 2023.
A native of Kettering, Mike has recently returned to Ohio after spending the majority of his professional career in Philadelphia, PA. Mike now resides in Oakwood with his partner Sara and son, Fox, who attends Smith Elementary. In Philadelphia, Mike was a proud member of multiple development teams, contributing to the city’s rich history of philanthropy. Most recently Mike served as the Interim Director of Individual Giving for the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation.
Outside of work Mike enjoys jogging and biking around Oakwood, reconnecting with friends, cooking, and hearing all about his son’s day at Smith Elementary.
